this book is a reference for anybody carrying on reserches on Irish wit. Unfortunately, it has not so many references to Oscar Wilde, but it provides lots of useful information to carry the reserch further by your own means.It explores the ancient Irish way of telling stories, the Irish tradition of wordplay and it gives useful literary references.It is easy to read, and provides fundamental phrases to quote.
