This action packed thriller is a narrative about two friends, Slam and Don, who passionately shares the same dream of becoming psychologists. Their obsession about studying the human brain and its effect on human behavior compels them to embark on a journey to academic excellence, yet they face obstacles that almost jeopardize their career. The narrative begins with a vicious fight between Slam and Don, over a young girl, Lay, which results in gross tensions between them. During a fist fight, Slam's face is terribly smashed as Don beats him to a pulp and leaves him completely disoriented. To settle the score and boost his ego, Slam resorts to avenging himself and lays an ambush against Don at gun point and holds him captive. He then severely tortures him to a point where he passes out. While he runs away from the police to seek refuge, he finds himself in the company of gangsters who guarantee him protection. Sadly, during one of the raids in the city, the police are tipped about the criminal activities of these gangsters and eventually tracks them right to their hiding place. Slam is arrested together with other gagsters while their leaders are shot dead on the spot. His case is then brought before the Magistrate court and Don (His best friend he had tortured) comes out of hospital and through the intervention of parents, he testifies on his behalf such that he is released from custody. The book is an eye opener as it presents a narrative of typical activities which most youth like to identify themselves with yet they derail one's career - girls, drugs and gangsters. It educates the masses that crime does not pay and brings about exposure to the fast life of crime and its consequences. After reading it, it causes the reader to contemplate deeply about life choices and helps you to make life decisions wisely. Above all, it concertizes the masses on the power of forgiveness, value of true friendship and parental guidance.
