for the price, a lot of good information you can use

I am a bit of an investment book junkie, having bought literally hundreds over the past few years. While I started out with more fundamental analysis type books, I eventually gravitated to more technical analysis books. Being way past learning the simple patterns, I am now more interested in the strategies behind the patterns, and this is what this book gives me. The other recent purchase that I found quite helpful is Larry Connors' "How Markets Really Work."

if you invest your 401(k)...

this is a good book to get, IMO. There are a lot of very helpful strategies, which seem to emanate from O'Neil's book. The strategies are clearly described and plenty of charts help you see it clearly.
