The Invention

This is a rewrite of the original story of the same name by the same author. An Amazing Story of two friends who travel back 8,000 years looking for answers. Their knowledge of history was changed by a strange telepathic race of people. Things were different from what they expected-accidentally changing reality, making the world a better place. A journey of changing reality, believes and priorities. Finding friendships in the past and future as they go 8,000 years forward into the future, expecting a utopian world, only discovering a virtual world made to hide the truth about our future selves. Things are not what they seem to be, in a Time Travel adventure-spanning past, present and future. Changing our two explorers lives forever and giving a positive outlook on the future, for everyone.You could say this is a true story as this is what I had dreamt as I was passed out on the floor for God knows how long. At the time I was an atheist. I was going through bad times, with no food and no heating in my house. I stopped taking my medication for depression and anxiety and this story is what I woke up with in my head. The story took two years to work out and put into publication. I submitted the story to a publisher, and they liked it, but I couldn't afford half of the publishing fee, so I published it myself. You can tell this hasn't been to a professional editor or proofreader, but this is the story that I had to right to gain my own sanity back from the darkest of times in my life. This story got the ball rolling in my career as an author. Soon these stories will go through the publishing mill and be sorted out properly. But I am keeping these gems as is, so I can compare them to the end result after throwing money at them. Parts might seem na ve, but this is how I was when I started to write. The Invention is the first part of a two-part story, the Algorithm is part two. In a way, this story saved my life giving me a newfound purpose in my life. In the stories, you can see the theme of suffering from hyperthermia and other things that were happening to me at the time. Now I am a churchgoer and a proud Christian, but I still have fond memories of my first two books. See if you can spot me in these stories, freezing and the sausage fiend who had a pack of eight sausages to last me a week. Bad times, but a great result. Enjoy
