The Interventionist

Based on the escapades of Cornelius Squire, a young and eccentric modern-day villain. As a self-declared hero of society, Cornelius keeps watch over the town in which he lives, ensuring all is going as he plans. Despising incompetence and bureaucracy, he takes it upon himself to stage an intervention in any situation that falls short. He will do whatever it takes to achieve results, oblivious to how his actions might affect others. When a workers' strike causes the construction of a new reservoir to stall, Cornelius Squire takes matters into his own hands by employing a group of thankful stowaways whom he steals away from the immigration department. He then sets about finding a plot of land on which to build the reservoir. His choice: the housing estate occupied by his gun-toting great grandmother whom he loathes. But when his great grandmother goes missing, and the other residents discover their homes have been demolished, the authorities are called in.
