Bhagavan Krishna helped Pandavas to win this battle. The bravery, human potential and strength were much more in those times as compared to humans today. More than 1.66b people died in that war. The type of weapons used were much more powerful than what humans know today. This war caused most of the humanity to disappear.

After Parikshit, the real Kaliyuga began. This is the original history of the world. All other histories follow this major war. Modern scientists and sociologists have also determined that a major war happened seven thousand years ago when the diversity of Y-chromosomes disappeared. This is known as the Y Chromosome bottleneck. The collapse was so severe that there was only one man available for every seventeen women. This could happen only when there was a patriarchal war. One particular patriarchal clan disappeared. There was no major war in Kaliyuga until 1050 years after this war. At that time, Nanda appeared who ruled entire Asia and Europe. After him came Chandragupta Maurya under the guidance of Chanakya. I hope this establishes an accurate timeline of history.
