Good general internship directory

This is a good general internship directory, with very good indexes at the back. Because the organizations are arranged alphabetically in the main body of the book, it can be difficult to find a specific type of internship (say, advertising or finance) in a particular location.

A helpful book

I'm a staff reporter for the Wall Street Journal -- and I used this book to land an internship at WSJ -- which subsequently led to my permanent position at WSJ Interactive. The book was quite helpful, well organized, and a fun read, too. It's the standard bearer for its field.
