The publication of this set will mark the fiftieth anniversary of the International Law Commission, the UN body principally responsible for the codification and development of international law. Together, the three volumes will collect the full texts of the Commission's final draft Articles and Commentaries, and other final reports, on all the topics on which it has completed work during its first fifty years, up to and including 1998.
