A day at the beach

Elisabeth laird's The Inside outing Is somewhat of a generic children's book. Julie the main character gets up bright and early for a day of fun at the beach. To her dismay she discoves that the rain clouds above her house had a slitly differnt day planded for her. Never the less Julie and her friends decided not to let the weather get the best of them. Instead they use their imaginations and created their oun day of fun. I didn't particularly like this story and would have given it a lower score if it weren't for the presentation. I feel that the pictures really make the book what it is and without those pictures it would be just another childrens story.
