The Insanity Squad: A Tank Dodge Story

Tank Dodge and his team of detectives from the Southern Police Station in Sydney investigate two murder cases with no apparent link. The first is a mother of two discovered in the woods behind a local hotel car park. The woman has been brutally murdered and raped, with her body left lying awkwardly over the stump of a fallen tree.

In a separate incident, a lone gunman lays on the roof of another hotel before shooting four fans as they are leaving a stadium after watching a rugby league semi-final in Southern Palms. One of the three killed in the shooting is a member of the Insanity Squad Motorcycle Club.

The following night, the gunman makes it clear who he is targeting after shooting the vice president of the Insanity Squad's wife along with another club member. The team need to track down the shooter, who is hell-bent on gunning down members of the club while still investigating the murder of the mother and wife.

With the help of Forensic Pathologist Katie Phillips, computer analyst Ned Patterson, and an undercover cop entrenched in the motorcycle club, the homicide unit needs to find the killers before a bikie war erupts between rival gangs and more blood is spilt in the southern suburbs of Sydney.
