Spain, late fifteenth century. The Inquisition is tightening its grip, and Yehuda has no intention of pretending to be anyone other than what he is.
Openly Jewish and unwilling to abandon Torah, Yehuda is arrested after being accused of helping conversos return to the faith of their ancestors. Inside the machinery of the Spanish Inquisition, he finds himself facing a senior cleric whose certainty leaves little room for mercy, and the cleric's son, a younger priest who has spent his life accepting the world his father taught him to see.
But imprisonment gives Yehuda something his captors did not expect: time to answer their questions.
As Scripture is opened, assumptions begin to fracture. The younger priest is forced to confront not only what he believes about the Jewish people, but memories of injustice he once witnessed and chose not to challenge. What begins as interrogation becomes a struggle over truth, obedience, repentance, and the cost of finally doing what is right.
Meanwhile, Yehuda must decide how to remain faithful without allowing hatred to remake him in the image of those who hate him.
The Inquisitor's Son is Book II of The Unbroken Name Trilogy, a historical graphic novel series following different Jewish men named Yehuda across different centuries as they confront persecution in changing forms.
A story of Jewish endurance, moral accountability, costly repentance, and a prayer that could not be silenced.
