Book Overview

Special agent Zachary Marshall had tracked a deadly terrorist ring to a secluded resort--right to a woman he'd once loved. Was Julie Anderson a cunning traitor...or an innocent victim of ruthless criminals? Zach planned to use their shared grief over lost loved ones--Julie's husband, his own wife and daughter--to get close enough to uncover the truth. He hadn't planned on Julie's quiet strength and unshakable faith lighting his dark soul. As sinister events unfolded, Zach realized Julie was in grave danger. And so was he...because he was falling for her all over again.

A great read

Janet Edgar's novel is exciting and suspenseful. The attraction between a delightfully feisty heroine and a hunky hero is strong and believable. I highly recommend this inspirational story.

very good read!

I debated giving this one 5 stars since I remember reading it fondly but it isn't overly great and I think that's because it's a short 'series type' romance and not enough room to really develop a big story. I usually don't read Christian based fiction, esp romance because I'm afraid of it being too 'preachy' and the lack of sex which to me makes it seem 'unrealistic' in a way compared to a lot of romance out there today. This couple knew each other from their past which helps understand them 'falling in love' so quickly. I agree that the events were scattered somewhat and I don't quite understand why certain things weren't noticed/reported higher up. Otherwise a nice story; enough to make me wnt ot read about his brother as well as his partner/boss and her friend but seems like I read that this author had passed away before writing the other stories so I was really disappointed in that. Since reading this I've read more Love Inspired titles that I have enjoyed and yes, even without the sex I still really enjoyed this book and the others as well - to my surprise! It just wasn't needed per se.
