New York Times bestselling authors Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer present the first novel in the Angel Island series, set on an island a stone's skip away from Cape Light... Liza Martin arrives on Angel Island eager to sell off the rundown inn she inherited and return to her busy life in Boston. Back home await her unstable career as an advertising executive--and a broken marriage. Angel Island is just one more burden... But as Liza recalls the golden summers of her childhood, she begins to second-guess herself. And she wants to know more about Daniel Merritt, the charming handyman who's helping repair the inn, but Liza doesn't have time for romance...or much else. Sometimes Liza sees her life flying by--and, at the same time, going nowhere. It may take a band of angels to mend her broken wings and redirect her soul...
I have read all of the books in the Cape Light series and was delighted to find a new book coming out by the same authors. I enjoyed this story and liked the fact that Cape Light and some characters were also mentioned. The story moved quickly and I read it in record time. I liked the descriptions of the Inn and the island. I am looking forward to the next book and hope it comes out soon.

With The Inn on Angel Island comes a new series from Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer. Some of the characters from Cape Light are tied in for a smooth transition to begin this new series. The story tells of what happens when a brother and sister inherit an old inn where they had spent their childhood summers. Beautifully written with such great descriptions you can feel the surf on our skin. Memories are held dear.....and lives are changed. This is highly recommended--a touching addition to your library.

True to their unique style Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer contiue the tradition of being a good neighbor, and be patient and wait to see what God has planned for your life (without seeming preachy). I truly enjoy reading their Cape Light Series and am not disappointed with their new endavour.
The Inn at Angel Island (Novel)

The book is the first of a series, I hope. I found it interesting the way the author connected the Cape Light series, some of the characters and locations, with this new book. The Inn at Angel Island is a great beginning for a new series of books. The characters and actions of the people involved make for a very enjoyable 'sit by the fire on a windy, wet evening' type of story. The problems divorces bring are intertwined with the problems the children are encountering when the parents separate is well described and dealt with. Inheriting a large gift, an inn, brought a needed change in a stressed life of the heroin. I'm looking forward to the continuation of the series.
