This book contains a lot of outdated information on dog genetics. Some of it is correct, but many parts have been disproven and/or geneticists now accept new theories. However, I enjoyed reading it from the perspective of looking through a time capsule of sorts. I am giving it 3 stars if only to dissuade people from purchasing it with the expectation that they will understand dog genetics — there are much better resources to turn to instead.
