Great life reference

Don Lancaster has written a great book. I had the first version (hardback) but loaned it out, and it sadly never returned home. This second version is updated, but at this point a little dated. But the base information and philosophy of life expressed is the real value in this light hearted easy to read booklet. If you ever had a desire to try to 'do it yourself' in life, it is worth the read.

Encouragement for the would-be self-employed

Excellent book. Well written and encouraging for anyone who's ever dreamed of making a life, as well as a livelihood, pursuing a task you love. One of the three best "how-to" books I've ever read, along with The Owner-Built Home and The Self-Sufficient Gardner.
