The Impending World Government: Is it just a Conspiracy Theory?

Since the end of World War II, the world has been gradually moving towards the centralization of political decision-making. Over the decades, the powers of nation-states have increasingly shifted to supranational organizations such as the European Union and the United Nations (UN). Will this evolution towards larger administrative constructs culminate in a global regime? We live in truly chaotic times. Published opinion is becoming increasingly uniform, and mainstream media avoid taboo topics or treat them in a highly biased manner. Investigative journalism appears to be in grave danger of extinction. It is precisely this corrective--the existence of independent media competing for readers, exposing the machinations of the powerful, and thus creating a balance between the people and the representatives of business and politics--that is an essential element of democracy and what makes this form of society appealing and sustainable in the first place! However, the era when independent media were numerous and competed to offer diverse information and opinions is definitively over, although many people remain unaware of this. A long-standing process of global consolidation has resulted in a few media monopolies controlling about 80% of the published opinion worldwide. Independent investigations by publishing bodies are being replaced by the work of the world's leading news agencies: Reuters, AFP, and AP. War journalism, in particular, the pinnacle of investigative journalism where multiple perspectives must be considered, has degenerated into propaganda campaigns for the respective warring sides and their obedient "court reporters." The critical observer now has little chance of obtaining alternative information from the mass media. Consequently, many critical contemporaries adopt a resigned attitude: "I know the media often lie to me (just like science, whose chairs are often directly financed by corporations), but what can I do about it? So I stick to 'official knowledge.'" But are we truly so helpless at the mercy of experts and the media when forming our opinions? The viral spread of the Internet in recent decades has significantly changed the rules of the game. All knowledge is available; you just have to look for it! This has always been the case. However, before the Internet era, access to knowledge was a privilege reserved only for select circles. Whether it was the Church, politics, science, or the media, they all had in common exclusive access to knowledge denied to the general public. This exclusive access placed them in positions of power to control people's "knowledge" and thus their worldview, directing it according to their interests... for thousands of years, in fact! The Internet has not created more knowledge but has made it visible and accessible to everyone in real-time. What was once reserved for journalists can now be done by anyone: investigate! Search for facts, place them in the appropriate context, check information for possible intentions or interests, link contexts, and draw the resulting conclusions. This also implies the responsibility to verify and evaluate the available information and judge for oneself how valid it is. The search for truth is similar to solving a criminal case: possible theories must be created based on facts and circumstantial evidence. Then they must be tested until confirmed or replaced by new findings. It is a dynamic process that never ends. Only if all approaches can be debated openly and without thought prohibitions is there a chance to get closer to the truth. Therefore, we are pleased to offer you in this book numerous verifiable statements from the highest officials and facts that many people were barely aware of until now, shedding a somewhat different light on current events than the information provided by the mainstream media.
