As entertaining as it is useful

I left home at age 18 to travel the world armed with this book. It contains many useful words and phrases, plus any number of phrases thrown in just for fun (how does one rebuff an annoying man at a bar, after all?). The best part of the book is the hundreds of hilarious and often irreverent illustrations accompanying most phrases. Though useful as a phrase book, the book fits just as well in the humor section. And for the couple of bucks you are going to pay for a used copy, it's well worth it for the laughs. And you might learn a couple of useful words in Dutch to boot!
