Eighteen-year-old Thomas Mueller thought a winter job at a rooftop skating rink would be simple. Show up. Watch the ice. Go home. But this rink-seventy floors above the city-isn't normal.

Skaters move in perfect sync without meaning to. Footprints linger too long. Shadows skate on their own. And then there's her-a girl who knows his name, disappears without warning, and seems to exist only when the ice wants her to.

As the season deepens, the rink starts showing Thomas things he can't explain-memories that aren't his, echoes from other lives, and a blank book that somehow knows what he's thinking. With the help of a retired coach, a mysterious young artist, and the memories the rink refuses to forget, Thomas will have to figure out what it means to move forward-before he gets trapped in a loop that's already held too many lives.
