The Hybrid Club is a bridge bidding system that effectively integrates the Kamikaze No-Trump, Big Club, and numerous other action-oriented opening bids. The result is a system that produces excitement while increasing variability in matchpoint scoring events, thus increasing the chances of winning. For example, a one diamond opening is a catch-all bid for hands that don't meet the requirements of other opening bids that can contain as few as zero diamonds! A 2D opening bid shows 10-12 HCP and 4-4-4-1 distribution. The Kamikaze NT opening is done on balanced hands with 10-12 HCP. The forcing club opening of 16+ HCP uses control-showing responses and subseqent ace-asking and control-asking bids. This book was originally published in 1981 with the foreword by Eddie Wold. The book is well organized and uses flow charts at the end of each chapter to summarize possible responses and the requirements for each. The book is a must for analysts and collectors of system books.
