In an industry based heavily on aesthetics, Rachel began to create and perpetuate an unhealthy image of herself. After losing 50 pounds and beginning to look more like a Holocaust victim, Rachel faced her first major professional challenge . Ultimately, she left it up to herself to either give up her dream, or live to tell about it. In the process, she has learned to take the challenges she faced, and turn them into strengths, by providing motivation to others who may be dealing with similar issues. Unhealthy and at a crossroads at 23, she took it upon herself to write a one-woman motivational piece to help others. Although stressful at times, and still struggling daily with tantalizing old habits, she wanted to prove to herself; she could do it on her own.
