Searching for Ken Kavanaugh

I have not yet read this book, but I am looking forward to doing so. My grandfather was the tail-gunner in Mr. Kavanaugh Sr.'s B-17s and B-24s. I am delighted to have discovered this book and to know that there is a source out there for information about my grandfather's tour. Thank you, Ken, Jr., for writing this book. I hope to meet you some day.

Aptly titled

As a baby boomer, I just missed the years of "the greatest generation." This book captures the best of what that era produced. A man of humble beginnings, without pretense and without pursuit of glory, rose to glorious heights anyway. A football hero, a World War II hero and a man faithful throughout to his country, family and morality, achieved things that most of us can only dream of. This is a great, heart warming and inspirational read!
