The House on Sunnyside Avenue

When I think of my family, I think of the dining room table in the house on Sunnyside Avenue. In this memory, there are always groups of us sitting around that table, laughing and telling stories, and drinking cup after cup of coffee. Someone is in the kitchen making more coffee, and mobs of little kids are running through the house. Sometimes I think our lives were never defined by what actually happened. It was the stories we told around the dining room table that became our reality.
