THIS BOOK IS HOT

I truely enjoyed this book and I think it is a must read for everyone. It is really a page turner, It usually takes me awhile to finish a book. But I sat and read this book in one setting. The characters in the book seem so familar. This book speaks about the cautionaries of casual sex, dealing with a society of HIV/Aids. And the currupt minds of some carriers.

If you are looking for a great read, then I would suggest that you read, The Hottest Summer Ever Known by Valencia R. Williams. This novel so is so real and honest that you, like me, may be able to finish this novel in one day. The Hottest Summer Ever Known depicts the story of two sisters, Summer Devyne Lewis and Treasure Lewis. Their story is a story of life, death, love, lust, deceit and the redemption of sisterhood. The author educates as well as entertains her readers about the consequences of living life in the fast lane. The main character, Summer Lewis, ignorantly devises a plan that surely backfires on her. An open and honest depiction of the characters forces all to be cautious and take responsibility for our deceitful motives and actions because after all, what goes around comes around... I applaud Valencia for her efforts to educate her readers about the spread of HIV/AIDS in our community.

A book you can't put down.

The Hottest Summer Ever Known is a book you can not put down. You laugh, cry & get angry. I was so wrapped up in the book I hated that it ended. I'm waiting for part two. Valencia Williams should write for soap opera's, you get so deep into the characters. There is no dull moment in this book. "The Hottest Summer Ever Known" ia a must read book. Suzzette

AN OPRAH BESTSELLER!!!

Oprah need to open her eyes to new raw talent out here. You hardly ever see street writers on Oprah. This young lady should be a trend-setter writer to open up that door and bust the Oprah Show wide open!! This book gave me something to take with me unlike others I've read that's all about the same thing. Truth Hurts.. Denial Kills

At first I did not want to read a book about AIDS.. I read one once and it was very depressing and not encouraging people to get tested. However, I belong to SISTA IN BOOKS, a book club in Detroit and The Hottest Summer Ever Known, was the book for the month of January. It took me forever to buy the book, but only two days to read the book. This book is VERY good. It hits on a lot of issues, not just AIDS.. Full of DRAMA..Way to Go.. I can't wait until number 2..
