hi im jimmy johnson and i'm going to talk about one of the most horrible events, ever to happen to l.a., this is a 'true story', i'll feed your addiction, to non fiction. it takes place in, compton in 1946, just after the war, thats when my dad, rodney came back from fighting in ww2, he fought in the japanese islands. he is a proud black marine that survived to come back to his bride, my mom kaylynn, but she goes by 'kay kay'. they got married in san diego, right befoe he shipped out, as soon as he got back, they bought a brand new house in compton and also bought a small building with a big parking lot, that they turned into the 'compton butcher shop'
