The Honey Island Swamp

With it's abundance of wildlife and primitive beauty, the Honey Island Swamp offers a never ending pallet of sights, sounds and smells, truly an explorers dream. I hope to have captured some of those sights with my camera and a passionate eye for that place I have the pleasure to call home. We have seen so many changes since Hurricane Katrina in this area and it's been very interesting to travel by boat to see the rebirth and adaption of nature. We are seeing more species of birds migrating here and I'm dedicated to capture their presence by photographing for all to see. And who knows, I just might find "Big Foot" or the "Ivy Billed Woodpecker" while out wondering about.
