The Homeschool Hourly Log

Created by a family who homeschooled nine of their ten children for eighteen years, The Homeschool Hourly Log was designed for use in those states that require a record of hours rather than days. Some states (like Pennsylvania) give you a choice between these two options, while others (like Missouri) have additional requirements, such as documenting separately the number of hours for core and non-core subjects. [Please see your own state or country's homeschool law.] The simple grid format allows you to check off the texts or activities used for each subject per day in its TEXT box, and you write in the time you spent on it in the TIME block directly below it. A handy chart provided on each sheet helps you convert the number of minutes to a decimal portion of an hour for your convenience. Space is provided to total the hours per subject and per sheet. Sheet totals may then be added for the total hours of your school year. If you homeschool in Missouri, simply list your core subjects first and total them separately from your other subjects. Each page documents seven days of homeschooling, and 36 pages are provided, enough for up to 252 days. Breathe a sigh of relief: hourly record keeping has never been easier!
