So dear reader here we are at book five. I never expected to write so many books but as usual, the characters had other ideas and more or less forced the stories along by themselves.This is the culmination of the last four books both in the characters that appear in them and the fruition of the storyline.Book five is set some five years after William arrived on Xenophon and be warned it does contain just as much violence as the first, second, third and fourth books and perhaps just a little bit more (well ok maybe a lot more). It also contains a lot more sexual references and yes there is more detail than before but probably a lot less than you would find in adult books, sex is as much a part of life as death is but this is just a heads up so if you are easily offended then please don't read any further, I have given it an eighteen rating on Amazon for a reason.Old favorites of mine and I hope yours are back plus some new characters have been thrown into the mix and yes Max is still here and yes he still swears a lot but that is just Max being Max and quite frankly like William I would not want the dog any other way.Sloth returns AKA Beatrice Merryweather as well as the darkness, the First One and not forgetting the Watchers of course.There is an assassination, sentient planets, and spectral horses plus an android weapon.Also, there is a guest appearance of the president of the United States and Prime minster of the United Kingdom.So buckle up, grab a stiff drink and turn off that bloody annoying mobile phone before telling Alexa to play some classical music and then relax and escape from the stress of normal life.
