My son loves his bible

This was purchased for our son as a gift and he loves it. He will still and read out of it out loud and then highlight his favorite parts! It is very easy to read but on the exception of a couple of pictures, it is set up just like a traditaional bible.

Great for beginner's

I had bought this Bible several years ago for my first daughter. She loved it, it contains pictures of some of the more popular stories that the kids love, and the wording is simplistic and easy for a child to understand. The only complaint that I have about this Bible is that this is apparently a new edition. The print is very tiny. The first one I bought the print was large and easy for my little girl to read. We are struggling a little bit with the tiny print, but I still recommend it as a first Bible for any child.

Great New Readers Bible (ages 4-8)

My daughter loves this Bible. It is great for a new readers b/c of the words, stories and pictures. I would recommend this as a first in Bibles as they are starting to read.

I enjoy reading this Bible with my son

I purchased this Bible for my 6 year old son for Christmas. It is very easy to read, and he can actually read (and understand) it on his own. (He reads on a third grade reading level.) I have compared scriptures with the NIV, and have found little difference that would affect the meaning of the scriptures. Although the language is simpler, it does not seem "watered down" in any way. It is a very kid friendly version which is enjoyable to read.
