Everything you ever wanted to know

This is a wonderful history of the Hollywood Bowl. Chapters by various writers review the history of the physical plant, the administration, music, opera, dance, pop, rock, etc. There are even chapters on the audience and its activities. There are wonderful pictures and drawings. Some of the information has become slightly out of date, but the historical data is still valid. The only thing I felt was lacking was a high quality map of the facility; it's a confusing place and a good diagram would have helped me orient myself. This is a great book for lovers of the performing arts and American pop culture.

Excellent History of The Bowl!!!!

A Beautiful Picture Book of the Hollywood Bowl. I highly recommend it to Bowl fans, movie buffs, and all those interested in the history of Hollywood.
