It's Christmas 1928 and Marius Quin and Lady Bella Montague are at a boring party in London when Bella’s Aunt Adele becomes distressed and leaves precipitously. They discover that she has gone to her home in little picturesque Holly Village, is quite dead, the local police never want to rock the boat, a valuable painting has gone missing, and another Old Dear gets dead during the festivities.
