The Holly Pact: Blood Beneath the Mistletoe

By Matthew Petchinsky

It began with a package-no return address, just a sprig of mistletoe wrapped in red ribbon and black thorns. Every kiss beneath it awakened something cold and ancient buried in the snow. Now, in the quiet town of Ellensburg, a winter demon stirs once more.

When Nora Bellamy returns home after her mother's death, she inherits more than a house-she inherits a blood-bound curse. As mysterious mistletoe appears across town, people begin to change. Compelled by a hunger they don't understand, they kiss-and the ancient pact edges closer to being fulfilled.

To stop the final kiss-the one that will unleash the demon B'rhent-Kael upon the world-Nora must unravel her family's hidden past, decipher the lost Carols of the Dead, and face a truth buried beneath generations of silence and grief.

But some pacts don't just break-they remember.

A chilling holiday horror steeped in folk ritual, grief, and forgotten magic, The Holly Pact: Blood Beneath the Mistletoe is a haunting tale of love, memory, and the cost of warmth in a world that no longer understands its power.

The mistletoe isn't just watching. It's waiting.
