The Hollowing - Summary
Seven friends venture into Black Hollow Cemetery for a night of drinking and dares, dismissing the old legends of vanished townsfolk, whispering graves, and the ruined chapel that no one speaks of. But as the fog thickens and shadows stretch unnaturally, the group realizes they are not alone.
Something ancient and hungry stirs beneath the graves. One by one, they are hunted, hollowed, and consumed in grotesque, nightmarish ways-twisted into forms that should not exist. The creature is not just killing them; it is taking something deeper-draining them from the inside, leaving only empty, withered husks.
Taylor, the last survivor, is pushed beyond the brink of sanity. With bloodied hands and shattered bones, she refuses to die screaming like the others. In a brutal, desperate act of defiance, she turns the tables-wielding fire and steel against the unholy force that has tormented her friends.
But as dawn breaks and the fog begins to recede, she realizes the horror is not over.
She escaped the graveyard. But something escaped with her.
And the Hollowing has only just begun.
