The Hollow Files: The Church Bell at Midnight

Some warnings are meant to save you.

After uncovering the truth behind the haunting of Devil's Creek, horror novelist Caleb Walker is ready to put the Appalachian ghost stories behind him.

Then another file finds him.

Armed with nothing more than an antique church key, a faded newspaper clipping, and a cryptic message that reads, "The bell has started ringing again," Caleb travels to the isolated mountain town of Midnight Ridge.

For more than 150 years, the abandoned bell of St. Matthew's Church has rung before every tragedy the town has ever known.

Floods.

Mine collapses.

Fires.

Disappearances.

Never afterward.

Always before.

As Caleb uncovers hidden crypts, forgotten parish journals, sealed confession letters, and decades of altered records, he discovers that the church's greatest legend has concealed a devastating truth since 1959. But as midnight approaches, every clock inside the church stops at 11:59, and the bell continues to ring-even though its mechanism has been rusted solid for generations.

Is the bell foretelling another tragedy...

Or desperately trying to prevent one?

Blending Appalachian folklore, historical mystery, and supernatural suspense, The Hollow Files: The Church Bell at Midnight is the gripping third novel in Nicole Hobbs' haunting series, where forgotten voices refuse to be silenced, buried truths reshape the present, and every solved mystery opens another file.

Some bells summon the faithful.

This one is calling for the truth.
