In the end, she tells him her role in the Vampire Wars and how brutally effective she had been in that role. The Messiah of Death is a tale of romance, violence, horror, tragedy, and loss. It is also a tale of finding your true calling and learning to hold on to your humanity in the face of unprecedented horror and unspeakable surroundings.
