Includes pictures of seam markings, dates of 1st manufacture when known, and performance descriptions. Includes a brief history of the golf ball from wooden balls to Gutta Percha. Includes detailed technical terms and glossary for material science and ball construction as well as performance and testing parameters. Companion book to "How to Succeed at Golf" M. Hatcher Note to Collectors: This book is not intended for collectors who auction, affiliate advertisers or collectors who need all photographs of the very oldest golf balls made by Wilson Staff/Ultra/Prostaff due to limitations in available public records and collection resources. As additional golf balls become known and photographed they will be included in future versions of this book. Wilson Staff/Ultra/Prostaff golf balls were used by Gene Sarazon, Sam Snead, Ben Hogan, Nick Faldo, Ricky Barnes, Paul Lowry, and Padraig Harrington at different points in their careers.
