Powerful series

Stuart Kallen has written a series of books on the Holocaust for children at approximately the 5-6th grade level which seems to me remarkable in the genre for the direct honesty with which they deal with such topics as Polish anti-semitism. Truth that is not quite politically comfortable needs to be made available to children.
