When one of their own is found brutally murdered in the mercantile everyone - including Roland - is a suspect. But the plot takes a quick turn when a prominent figure and someone close to the victim is arrested.

With all the lovable characters (and a few new ones), resident ghost Ashley Hunter returns as narrator for this cozy mystery 'The Hillbilly Debutante Mercantile and Pie Shoppe'.
