I read a great deal of historical fiction and THE HEYDRICH DECEPTION is BY FAR one of the best I've ever read. Gray not only knows history, he knows characters and dialogue and most importantly, knows how to weave a suspenseful tale of espionage and intrigue. This is quite a tale that should remain in print. FIND IT and READ IT. It's worth the search.
Skillful, telling historical background

This book lingers with you after you finish, both on the historical and the lovestory levels. And, I felt like I had just enjoyed learning much about WW2, even though I'm not a history buff! Great read.
Excellent historical novel

I am not usually a big fan of suspense-type fiction, but this book proved to be an exception. The main characters are really well-developed, and Gray's portrayal of the spy world in World War II is fascinating. The love story aspect is also nicely done, and fits in well with the overall intrigue. Well done! A must-read!
