The Hero Within

Becoming a teen mom, is life changing and fearful itself. I was afraid to take on that battle but as scared as I was, I knew it had to get done. Years later, I was forced to face the reality with my first child at age seven having terminal cancer. With all these challenges, I had to remember to be a mom to my other son, a wife to my husband, and to try to keep my household afloat while dealing with the most heartbreaking news of my life. I was loosing my first love of my life and my hands were tied with no real solution.

Life is too short and clearly tomorrow isn't promised. Truth be told, life is not easy. We all experience pain, disappointment and losses. This is one of my toughest battles I had to endure. I was left feeling devastated, depressed, and frustrated because why was this happening to a child. During that difficult time, I knew that there was someone who can lift me up out of this pain. That's when I surrender to the Lord and learned to Let go, and Let God.
