Completely Obsessed, Completely Devastated

I just finished The Hemlock Queen, and to put it simply: I am not okay. I flew through this book, and it was worth every second. Hannah Whitten has done it again. This installment takes everything I loved about the first book and raises the stakes, delivering a story that is as haunting and beautiful as it is brutal. The writing is incredibly atmospheric, and the way the plot weaves together—with its dark, twisty surprises—kept me on the edge of my seat until the very last page. I am honestly still processing the emotional toll this book took on me. It is a rare feat to be so completely hooked by a story that it leaves you needing a moment to recover after you turn the final page. If you are a fan of dark fantasy, you need this series in your life immediately! This was a five-star read from start to finish. I am officially a lifelong fan of this series and Hannah Whitten. I cannot wait to start The Nightshade God to see how it all ends!
