Slow but Sweet

The novel could have sped up in places, but I loved the Jane-Austen-y feel I got when reading it, and although there was a marriage of convenience, it was done in a way unique compared to how it has been done in other books.

Great Debut

The Heiress of Winterwood is an enchanting debut novel. It has a slow start, but once the action starts, everything comes together beautifully. Amelia and Graham really began to click for me as they came together to save Lucy.
