Three kingdoms fight for power and control-regardless of the consequences it has to others. In one such kingdom, the land of Argensia, a lowly concubine named Amaryllis conceives the only heir to the throne. Yet, she is captured by soldiers from their rival country, Lucisel...a place with barbaric laws and customs. Here she uncovers a hidden danger, in unlikely places, responsible for the death of many.
However, the other kingdoms are by no means better. The king of Argensia has discovered the secret to winning the favor of the mighty dragon, Xenterius...capable of mass desolation. Whereas the kingdom of Sanlaethin has discovered magic so powerful, that it can swiftly ruin all that is good.
The only beings strong enough to fight against these deplorable evils are the ancient gods, created by the omnipotent Elothein, who made all things. The most powerful of them is the goddess Lilinella, filled with grace and compassion for all of humanity.
Yet, sadly the kingdoms have ceased to honor them, as they begin to instead worship false gods, who deceive many with empty promises and hopes...all the while, plotting destruction and doom.
There is but a small remnant of faithful souls, called the Elotheinites, who call upon the true gods for aid and protection.
Nevertheless, even amongst their pious race, evil finds a foothold...as the sky darkens. It remains to be seen if anyone can
help. Though wickedness will not prevail without a fight After all, the gods of Elothein are far stronger than the powers of
darkness.
