The book is a family project, the implementation of which was not an easy but fun adventure. The story about the hedgehog family was inspired by the creativity of the daughter who was drawing from an early age and the hedgehogs who were met in various forms throughout their lives.

The story is illustrated with drawings created by a thirteen-year-old girl.
