Really

Y’all this book was good. If your not into high school relationships or petty drama then this isn’t for you lol. Not gonna lie this book had me mar times, but overall I recommend.

Over all, it's a pretty good book

I loved the plot, it was fun, interesting and well thought out, really different then anything else I've read. The characters were great too, I found that the four main characters are very different individuals and they all had awesome twists that made them seem even more realistic. In my opinion, I strongly disliked that the narrator was going through the point of view of four girls. She should have picked one of them and focused on her. I would get really into one character and then the narrator switches, Then I get kind of bored with the next. But still, it's a really great read. So I suggest it for 12-15 year old teens.

A Can't Miss Book!

Raven, Kelly, Sydney, and Alexia are all best friends. And, at the start of the book, you find out that Raven, Kelly and Sydney are all in relationships (or sort-of relationships). Then on the same day, they all get broken up with their boyfriends. Alexia, who has never been in a real relationship, decides to help out her friends by making a break-up code for the girls to follow. Some of the rules are the basic break up stuff, as in not talking to your ex or calling him just to hear his voice on his voicemail. Some of the girls have a hard time following the code. And, poor Sydney is in denial about her break up and believes it will be soon for her and Drew to get back together. Alexia starts to get a crush someone and hides it from her friends, because even though she didn't break up with anyone, she's supposed to be going by the code, too. Kelly is spending more time with Sydney's ex and hiding it from her other friends. And, Raven is wondering how anyone has ever gotten along without a boyfriend to keep them occupied. Throughout this story there are a lot of twists and friendship tests that will keep you turning the pages. The Heartbreakers is a great book. I laughed throughout the whole book and even got mad through some of it. Ms. Wells' writing is unlike any other that I have read. She keeps you in the story and wondering what's going to come next. The Heartbreakers is a story that I'm sure all girls can relate to, if they've ever been in a relationship, or even if they haven't. I can't wait to read more by Ms. Wells! The Heartbreakers is available now and the sequel The Crushes will be released on December 1st, so be sure to pick them up sometime soon. I know I'll be picking up The Crushes to see what's going to happen in the next installment.

Four best friends, Sydney, Raven, Alexia, and Kelly, have been through everything together. But when three of them get dumped by their boyfriends, on the same night, they all band together to get over their past relationships. One night, the friends decide to create a list of rules to follow, to avoid their past mistakes. But will these rules help them get over heartache, or will it just make life even harder? This is definitely a fun, 5-star read! Reviewed by: Cho
