Don't miss this book!

The Listener is a small book that is easy to read in a short amount of time. But it is a small book with a tremendous impact. Through the fictionalized story of Sam Bennett and the result of a God-given ability to "listen" to the thoughts of those around him, the reader realizes that although this book is fiction, he should be "listening" to those around him every day. Just as Sam teamed up with his pastor to share Jesus with those whose thoughts alerted him of the need, every opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those around us by sharing our faith should be taken advantage of. This book will get you excited about telling others about your faith. It will get you excited about going out in public specifically to find someone to talk to. It will get you excited about chatting with your neighbors and finding our how you can help meet their needs. You will never be the same after you read this book by Terri Blackstock. It will change your life and make you more aware of the needy world we live in. When you buy your copy you might as well buy two because you are going to want to give one to a friend!

This one really woke me up!

Though obviously fiction, this book makes one exited about telling others about Jesus.

Convicting

I could not put this book down. I read it in one afternoon. It made me realize how many opportunities I had missed to tell people about Jesus, and I was filled with new purpose and compassion for the hurting people in this world. No one could read this book without feeling convicted and challenged.

This book could change our world if really taken to heart and applied. It is probably the greatest book on evangelism and the heart of our Lord I have ever read!
