a "yoga" of a book!

This book is as good to the spirit as Yoga is to the soul! Really!! It is my favorite book, there are no others that I hold more dear. I read it all of the time and am purchasing them for my daughter and future daughter in laws. It is important... to find joy in life. And as a mother and wife, that is somewhat difficult. Women tend to loose themselves... and this book helps keep your heart on track. Helps you to feel good, helps you to mend, helps you to protect and of course... develop love! I adore it... she is a wonderful author.

Use it over and over!

I have had this book for several years. It is without a doubt one of my favorite books. It has stories for just about every occassion. I refer to these stories and quotes many times for inspiration, not only for myself, but for the women I work with. My poor book is highlighted, dog-earred and falling apart...and it remains always on the top of my desk. If you want a book that will lift your heart, make you laugh and re-examine your thought make sure to get this one. You won't be disappointed!!

I Love This Book!

I bought this book because I saw that JoAnn Larsen had quoted stories from nearly a thousand books. I figured someone who had read this much would have much to tell. She did! Every page is a gift. The stories are rich, funny, heartwarming, tender, poignant. I'd like to give this book to all my friends! Great stories to read to all those you love.
