The heart of god is deeper and more intensely obsessive and possessive than we will ever understand this side of heaven. He has revealed to us all that we can comprehend this side of heaven through his word and through the life of Jesus and the lives of His people. God loves the whole world and sent his Son to destroy the works of the devil and give us the same choice He gave Adam in the Garden of Eden; the choice to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season under Satan or to enjoy the abundant life with the One who knows the end from the beginning, controls everything, and loves us beyond measure. The heart of God is loving, just, merciful, and jealous, but also very angry toward sin because of its devastation on humanity.
