Buck, Skeeter, Darryl, Chrissy, and Limey have no money until Friday. So when a new dealer putters up to their campfire on a moped, they distract him with a singing novelty goat head, cave his skull in with a rock, and split his meth. Then they take his head off with a neighbor's deer saw so the cops can't use dental records. Or fingerprints. Darryl's pretty sure redheads don't have those.
The body goes in the swamp. The head goes down the septic line. Problem solved.
Two weeks later, a rider in a black hoodie with nothing above the shoulders comes puttering through the trailer park on that same moped, swinging a homemade ax, with the goat head duct-taped to the scooter and still singing. He's collecting.
The only person around who might help is Richard Crane of Crane's Drains, a plumber out on a septic call who'd really appreciate it if Limey quit calling him Dickerbod.
The Headless FloridaMan is a gleefully trashy horror comedy novella, a Legend of Sleepy Hollow retelling by way of Florida Man headlines. Expect gore, bad decisions, and laughs. Not for the squeamish, or anyone with strong feelings about bears.
