He called on his dental background to create the unique character of Rick Rose, a young dentist who, after losing his license, ends up identifying dead bodies in the San Francisco morgue. Book I is titled, The Mouth Mechanic.Mike's new novel, The Head Case, is Book II in the Rick Rose series. It follows his protagonist through a wild adventure as he scrambles to identify a disembodied head that has washed up on a San Francisco beach. Publication is scheduled for February, 2025.
