The Haven has stuck with me for years.

I bought this as a gift for my Dad and when I read it I was hooked. I have been searching for this book ever since it came out. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and tensions the book created, including a growing feeling of claustrophobia when the hero is in the never-ending wood and the great sigh and deep breath of freedom as they strive for their goal.
